How much is admission?
$15 per person per visit – includes all day access to PoP Children’s Museum, the Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium, and all exhibit galleries throughout the center.
Add Ons:
- Gallery of Intrigue: $8 per person
- Goodman IMAX® Dome: Prices vary. See all available feature-length and documentary films here.
- Special Exhibits & Events: Prices vary. See specific exhibit and events for pricing and tickets.
Where can I purchase tickets?
General admission, the Goodman IMAX®, and Gallery of Intrigue tickets are sold in the lobby at Sci-Port or you can purchase tickets online here .
What is showing in the IMAX theatre?
Experience the newest groundbreaking IMAX® with Laser projection system which delivers stunning images and heart-pounding audio on the biggest screens for the world’s most immersive cinematic experience yet! For movies, schedules and to purchase tickets, click here.
Can I leave and come back later that day with a general admission ticket?
Yes. General admission tickets are valid for the whole day they were purchased.
Are food and drinks allowed in the museum?
We have a designated cafe and seating area on the first floor where you can purchase food and drinks. However, all food and drinks are limited to the cafe seating area or can be taken into the Goodman IMAX® Dome.
Is there a lost and found?
Yes. If you have lost something in the museum please call us at 318-424-3466.
How do I book a birthday party?

Are service animals allowed in the museum?
Yes! Service animals are welcome at Sci-Port.
Membership FAQ’s
Do I really get free general admission for me and everyone I bring to the center?
Only the person(s) listed on the membership application will receive free general admission. Up to five (5) Guests that are not listed on the membership application will receive a 50% discount on the general admission price. Only Family Memberships allow additional persons to be added on for $43.62/person ($40 + $3.62 for taxes).
Does my membership include IMAX tickets?
Yes! You will receive one (1) IMAX ticket per visit. (Documentary less than one hour in length)
Can I transfer my membership to a relative or acquaintance?
Memberships are non-transferable.
Can someone else present my membership to receive free general admission or discounts?
No. The free general admission is applied to the named person(s) on the membership application.
Do I have to be present for a guest to use my membership?
Yes. A visitor must be accompanied by a named member to receive the guest discount to general admission.
