Cats have over one hundred vocal sounds, while dogs only have about ten.

Amp up your Sci-Port party experience with one of our new themed parties!
- Mudbugs: The Mudbugs party package will offer a variety of hockey-themed activities and gift items provided by the Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team.
- NERF Blaster: The NERF Blaster party package includes NERF battles. NERF blasters and darts provided.
- Animal Encounter: The Animal Encounter party package includes up close and personal visits and feedings with our animals.
Party Package
- Number of Guests: 38*
- Access to Creative Energy Birthday Space
- All day admission to Sci-Port’s exhibit galleries, Space Dome Planetarium shows, and PoP Children’s Museum
- Use of Birthday Area for two hours
- $300 for Non-Members
- Members receive 20% off total party cost
- A 30 minute appearance from a costumed character actor is available for an additonal $100 for our themed birthday parties
*Additional admission tickets over the 38 wristbands are $8 per person
Time to Party
Birthday spaces are available:
- Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am – Noon & from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Sunday from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
No Sci-Party is complete without our famous Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream “churned” before your eyes!
- $50 per batch
- Serves around 30

Additional Information:
- NOTE: Due to visitor and staff latex allergies, no latex balloons are permitted in our building. You may bring Mylar balloons, paper lanterns or other non-latex party decorations.
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold party date and time and is due at the time you book your party. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your party date. (Note: If party is cancelled seven or less days before date, no refund will be available.)
Outside Refreshments:
- Guests may bring pizza, cake/cupcakes, drinks, and ice cream
- No other outside refreshments are allowed
- Sci-Port is a peanut free facility
