• Saturday, October 26th – National Pumpkin Day
  We’re bringing back Pumpkin Chunkin! Bring your own pumpkin or watch as our demonstrators sling theirs. See how your pumpkin’s carving affects how far it can fly… in our SLINGSHOT! Join us from 4-7 PM for a night of tricks, treats, a costume contest, trick-or-treating stations, and plenty of spooky fun! Don’t forget to dress in your Halloween best!
• Sunday, October 27th – Scary Movie Magic with Robinson Film Center
  Discover the secrets behind making scars, scabs, and more in film production! Learn how these creepy creations are brought to life—and maybe even leave with some spooky effects of your own!
• Wednesday, October 30th & Thursday, October 31st
  The Halloween fun continues in our second-floor gallery Health Zone, where you’ll create Halloween Hemoglobin and PoP kiddos can enjoy THUMBody spooky activities in our paint shop and more! Stop by the Demonstration Theater to uncover the Chemystery of Halloween—a science show that’s sure to send shivers down your spine!
• Friday, November 1st – Day of the Dead Celebration
  On this special day, we honor the vibrant cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos. Join us as we explore the science behind sugar crystallization by creating your very own sugar skull! Unleash your inner engineer with our ofrenda engineering challenge, where you’ll design structures inspired by the beautiful altars built to honor loved ones. Plus, get hands-on with a skull circuit activity and more. This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate through both art and science!
• Saturday, November 2nd – Science in the Dark
  Our spooky science week will wrap up with a bang! Join us in our Light & Color Lab for exciting activities during Science in the Dark. Plus, take part in the dissection of owl pellets—an activity that uncovers the mysteries of the natural world! Join us if you dare!
